In working with Daina, we created a plan to wrestle control of a basement overtaken by decades of accumulated life boxes of heirlooms, books, household items and more; much of it compounded by procrastination and tangled in grief. I found her process to be a breath of fresh air. We worked side by side with her saying, “Let’s start with this one box, and this one item and decide,” and to my amazement we would not only have many boxes ready to leave the house by the end of a focused four hour block, but also the basement layout rearranged to work better too. Her connections to many charities and organizations made letting go of things easier as I knew it was heading for a future that would assist or enrich another’s life instead of languishing in my storage room. I feel that Daina’s work with me was life enhancing and has given me hope that with less bogging me down, the future holds more opportunities to spend valuable time in the present moment with projects and people who matter. I have worked with Daina for a long time but was very happy with Keep It Neat’s Virtual Organizing Service. The flexibility that virtual appointments offer is so great with my busy family life. Daina and I met once per week over Zoom. We started by making realistic goals and a project plan. Then with each appointment, Daina helped me problem solve any issues I came across, helped me put systems in place to help me stay on track all while offering encouragement the whole time. I have yet to meet Daina. She has been helping my mother (and father) get ready to move from their acreage of 30 years into town. The house and small sheds look outstanding. They are 2 weeks away from their move and over 75% packed. She has been non-judgemental, patient and kind as my parents sort through their memories and their lives. If you want to make moving easy – call Daina. Do it! We were so busy with work and life that the thought of packing up our home and then unpacking it again was just too much. Daina and the Keep It Neat team came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Our entire home was packed in just 2 days! And packed well. She coordinated with the mover, showed up on moving day and directed the movers so we didn’t have to. She and her awesome team unpacked us and took away all the boxes and packing mess. We were able to just enjoy our new home. It was so easy and smooth we will never do that job ourselves. Also, just FYI, Daina is funny, fun and easygoing. Her helpers were all smiling and polite.
